Requirements:
To board your pet at our facility, the following must be met:
- Current Vaccinations: All pets must be up to date on the following vaccines:
- Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella (kennel cough), Influenza
- Flea & Tick Prevention: All boarders must be on current flea and tick prevention. If fleas or ticks are found, treatment will be administered at the owner’s expense.
- Fecal Test: A negative fecal test must be documented:
- Within the last 30 days if your pet is on heartworm prevention
- Within the last 2 weeks if your pet is not on heartworm prevention,
- If there is no proof at check-in, a fecal test will be performed at the owner’s expense
- Medical History: Pets must be free of contagious illnesses. Any chronic conditions or medications must be disclosed prior to boarding.
- Boarding Agreement: A signed boarding consent form is required for each stay.
- Emergency Contact: A local emergency contact must be provided in case you are unreachable.
- Your pet must be happy and relatively healthy to board at our facility. Aggressive pets will not be accepted. Pets on any anxiolytics (e.g. Trazodone or Fluoxetine) need a consultation with one of our DVMs prior to boarding.
